Valentine's Celebration 2009

I decided to try something different this time. Instead of trying to have a party with games, I tried a celebration with activities. Games are really hard with this group, since we are dealing with such a big age range in such a small group.

I set up four different centers, and let them choose from those, or anything else in the room that they would like to do. The morning flew by, and they all seemed to have a good time. The 1-year-olds did some coloring on construction paper. Sorry, no pictures! I was too busy trying to keep them from eating the crayons!

Painting hearts at the easel with hot pink, red and white paint.

Two centers here: Play-doh (with heart cookie cutters) and Card-Making (pink and red cards with heart stickers, sequins and glitter glue).
